Friday Blog Hop - April 22

Book Blogger Hop
Today's question is:  "If you find a book you love, do you hunt down other books by the same author?"

Simple answer: yes. Why would a person not do that? Sometimes, though, a Sophomore slump sets in. Worse, an author may write basically the same book or character over and over again. I reckon that's why I don't always finish the second book, because the first was so fresh.

Ahh I get what you mean, I've read books of the same author where I had to endure the same plot/character before. It's pretty annoying -.-

I'm a new follower via the hop btw!
I'm also having a big contest on my blog at the moment, so feel free to check it out!
Have a great weekend!

Oh no it's awful when they write the same book just with the names and places changed!

New follower hopping through!

I get what you mean about an author's second book being basically a repeat of the first sometimes. I hope that doesn't happen too often to authors I like :|

I am guilty of buying a book just because it was a good author and I haven't had bad luck often.

I'm likely to look into the author even if they don't write a series. This way I get the writing I love with new characters and storyline.
