Friday Blog Hop - March 4

Book Blogger Hop
Today's question at Crazy for Books posed by Mia is:
"Who's your all-time favorite book villain?"
"Favorite" is the wrong word paired with villain -- I'll rephrase that to
"Which book villain makes you shudder the most?"
  • I used to read lots of serial killer fiction books such as Silence of the Lamb, Red Dragon, and Black Sunday.   But not these serial killers.
  • Then there are Stephen King villains, the clown in ItCujo,  the woman in Mercy, and other long forgotten ones.
  • The man in last year's best-selling book Room.
  • My final response is any character who does child abuse.   These villains don't deserve names.  I have a feeling the next book I'm going to read will have a character who makes me shudder.  Fortunately, that book is going to be short.

It's a creepy question focusing on the villains but we read often to see good triumph over evil.

I also chose a very creepy villain rather than scary or unreal.

Hi! Just stopping by on the hop. I'm your newest follower. My favorite villains are the ones that make me angry, scared, etc.- the ones I hate.
Have a great weekend :)

Hi, just hopping on by. For me the best villains are the ones you might encounter in real life, far scarier than fantasy to think such evil exists.

My favorite book villain is, hands down, is the Napoleon of crime -
Professor James Moriarty.

It took me less than ten seconds to come up with my answer. But you'll
never guess why.

Hop on over to my blog and find out -- http://www.howardsherman.net

Good answer. I couldn't really answer this hop question because I don't like villains. Nice blog! http://sharonhenning.blogspot.com
