Earlier this week, we teachers spent a day without students exploring museums and historical sites in our city. One museum had a walk-in display of an antique corner drug store. That reminded me of the penny candy counter aeons ago. An indulgence I started at age seven, and it continues to this day. Chocolate, anyone?
